This Privacy Policy explains how The Knotty Crafters, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with:

this website, theknottycraftersllc.com; and
CA Enhancer, our browser extension and notification service for ConsignorAccess/SimpleConsign consignment vendors.

We are a small, family-run business based in Manchester, New Hampshire. If anything here is unclear, reach out any time — contact details are at the bottom of this page.

This website

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. Browsing it does not collect any personal information about you. If you contact us by email or phone, we retain that communication only to respond to you and for basic business recordkeeping.

Information we collect through CA Enhancer

To provide the CA Enhancer service, we collect:

Account information — email address, username, and a securely hashed password.
Contact channel for notifications — email address and/or phone number, if you choose to enable sale notifications.
Consignment store credentials — your ConsignorAccess/SimpleConsign login for the store(s) you link, used solely to check your own sales activity on your behalf. These credentials are encrypted and are never used for any purpose other than operating your notifications and confirming you're the rightful owner of a linked store.
Billing information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to: operate and improve the CA Enhancer service; send you the notifications and account communications you've asked for; process payments and manage your subscription; and provide support if you contact us.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, under any circumstances.

SMS / Text Messaging

Text Messaging Disclosure By opting in to SMS sale notifications, you agree to receive text messages from The Knotty Crafters, LLC / CA Enhancer related to your consignment sales activity and account. Message frequency varies based on your own sales activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate CA Enhancer, and only for that purpose:

Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
Twilio — delivery of SMS text notifications.
Resend — delivery of email notifications and account emails.
Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure for our website and service.

These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing their service to us.

Data retention & security

We retain account and credential data for as long as your account is active, and encrypt sensitive data such as consignment store credentials. If you close your account, we delete this information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the email below. You may also cancel your subscription and unlink any store at any time from within CA Enhancer.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults operating a consignment vendor business and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active account holders directly.
